In southern Idaho, the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes has reportedly announced that a new 85,463 sq ft casino connected to its former Shoshone-Bannock Hotel and Events Center is set to begin welcoming players from tomorrow.

Change of name:

According to a February 13 report from the news domain at EastIdahoNews.com, the premiere of the new casino is part of a multi-phase expansion project for the tribal venue located some twelve miles north of the small city of Pocatello that last week led to the entire property being rechristened as the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel.

Extensive offering:

The federally-recognized Shoshone-Bannock Tribes is also responsible for the nearby Sage Hill Casino and Travel Center as well as the more distant Bannock Peak Casino and Truck Stop and it reportedly detailed that its newest casino is to open within the Fort Hall Indian Reservation featuring a collection of some 900 video gaming machines alongside a high-limit gambling area and a 258-seat bingo hall. It explained the $35 million expansion of the Bingham County enterprise has moreover included the debut of expanded dining facilities, a revamped lounge and a 300-space car park.

Ambitious endeavor:

Pamela Gallegos, Chief Executive Officer for the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel, told the news domain that work on further expanding the recently-renamed tribal venue began in 2015 some three years after it had unveiled an adjacent 156-room hotel featuring a spa, heated pool, hot tub and fitness center. She furthermore proclaimed that the enlarged property is now hoping to take advantage of the growing numbers of tourists that are visiting the region every year in order to enjoy the delights of nearby Yellowstone National Park.
