On Tuesday, Australian-based company, SiteMinder, the hospitality industry’s leading cloud platform, secured a deal with Choctaw Casinos’ Oklahoma hotel and resort properties. The company which focuses on online distribution and direct booking technology will be providing a broadened distribution of the Choctaw Nation’s three properties’ nearly 1000 rooms online. The deal follows the major expansion of the Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant and plans for future growth, according to Hospitality Net.

Alfonso Rodriguez, director of revenue at Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, said, “SiteMinder’s Channel Manager provides a strong, sustainable and unified platform to effectively manage and enhance our online reach and presence. We are excited to integrate the platform at our hotel properties and see our bookings increase.” Rodriguez added, “The user interface of SiteMinder’s Channel Manager is simplicity at its best and the product’s accessibility allows amazing operational flexibility.”

Hotels are provided connections via SiteMinder’s Channel Manager to more than 120 of the world’s top central reservation systems, property management systems, and revenue management systems as well as more than 300 of its leading booking sites. The Channel Manager automates the majority of the processes required to create a room reservation. Over the 12 months to June 2015, it led SiteMinder to power 27 million-plus reservations worth $10.8 billion for its hotel customers.

The Choctaw Casino’s in Durant, Grant, Pocola, in Oklahoma will be using the platform.

In addition to the Channel Manager, SiteMinder’s products include TheBookingButton, Canvas, and GDS by SiteMinder. SiteMinder has more than 20,000 hotel customers, is used in more than 160 countries on six continents, and is partnered with 400 of the industry’s top connectivity providers.

Choctaw Casinos are owned and operated by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and feature a variety of gaming, resort and hotel properties throughout southeastern Oklahoma. Locations include: Choctaw Casino Resort-Grant, Choctaw Casino Hotel in Pocola, and Choctaw Casinos in Idabel, Broken Bow, McAlester, Stigler, Stringtown, and Choctaw Casino Resort-Durant.
