A brand new nightclub is set to open in early April on Playground Pier at Caesars in Atlantic City. WAV Nightclub will be in full swing starting on the 1st of April with performances by Skrillex and Tommy Trash. Skrillex will perform on the 1st, following by Tommy Trash on the 2nd. The new venue has partnered with Insomniac, the producer known for the Electric Daisy Carnival, before opening in less than one month.
The venue is located in New Jersey on Playground Pier and will be the only nightclub located in the United States that is situated over the Atlantic Ocean. WAV will be the ultimate hot spot for dance fans along the East Coast to be able to experience unforgettable performances in a unique atmosphere.
Every Saturday and Sunday, the venue will host shows that will be specifically curated by Insomniac. Brian Nagele, the CEO of WAV Entertainment, stated that the new partnership between Insomnaic and WAV will unleash unlimited possibilities of what can be done in Atlantic City in regards to Electronic Dance Music.
WAV consists of 20,000 square feet of space featuring a Main Club, outdoor terrace and Mezzanine level. There are four bars that are easy to access with 60 foot ceilings inside the space and 8,000 square feet of LED screens. The sound system consists of 200,000 watts for the ultimate in sound experience. During the New Year’s Eve holiday, WAV provided a premier event for 3,500 guests titled Uncorked, a way to see just what the club could provide.
WAV now joins the long list of Insomniac’s partnerships with nightclubs with such venues as Create Nightclub and Exchange LA. Tickets to the Skrillex opening show for the 1st of April can be purchased now as well as Tommy Trash tickets, with information available on the WAV website.
