The Reader’s Choice 2018 Best Casino awards have been handed out by the Southern California Gaming Guide, with the Sycuan Casino of El Cajon earning the Luckiest Casino award. With the win, the casino has earned the same award three years running!

Continuing to Award Prizes:

The Sycuan Casino continues to earn the Luckiest Casino award as they continue to award their players prizes time and time again. With the Readers Choice award, the Southern California Gaming Guide asks their readers to vote in the Best Casinos award categories. After the votes are cast, the ballots are reviewed, and the winners are announced.

Sycuan Casino General Manager John Dinius stated: “It is a great honor to be voted Luckiest Casino for three years in a row. In March 2019, we will open our expanded gaming floor for a total of 2,800 slot machines and 80 table games. With several upcoming additions to the property, we can’t wait for our lucky guests to have an incredible time and even more opportunities to win big at Sycuan.”

Hiring for Expansion:

Because of the upcoming additions, the Sycuan Casino has been working to hire more people to meet the needs of their guests. Back in September, the casino announced they would be hiring over 700 individuals for the hotel and resort expansion. Several positions were in need of filling, including food and beverage service, plus casino and hotel needs.

A job fair was hosted on September 20th, with the casino reviewing applications for employment. The casino plans on hosting several job fairs throughout the remainder of the year and into next year in order to fill all the positions they have available. During the job fairs, hiring managers will be on hand to conduct interviews as well as provide on the spot job offers to qualified candidates.
