The 2017/18 season will see English Football League Championship (EFL Championship) Queens Park Rangers (QPR) with its very first “Official Fantasy Sports Partner,” after signing a partnership agreement with Sportito Fantasy Sports.

The pairing is seen as an opportunity for the club’s fans to take advantage of the fantasy sports platform during the season and for QPR fans to connect with Sportito.

Sportito launched in 2016 in the United Kingdom with a unique game format. Unlike traditional fantasy sport, players have more chances to win by joining different football leagues daily and withdrawing instantly. Additionally, when players choose the lineup for their fantasy team, there are no salary cap restrictions applied by Sportito. That makes it a lot more fun for fantasy players and gives novice players a fighting chance against all of the sharks out there.

QPR’s one million-plus fans consist of mostly locals from West London. The Club is based in White City, London. They are passionate supporters and span all of the Club’s social platforms. The collaboration will enable Sportito to reach QPR’s fans via digital channels thereby enhancing the relationship. Another result of the partnership, the two will offer ultimate fan experiences including winning signed merchandise, tickets for match day and getting to meet their favorite QPR players.

Sportito Chief Executive Officer, Riccardo Mittiga, said, “We are delighted to welcome QPR on board. It’s a pleasure to be the clubs first ever Fantasy Sports partner and Sportito will offer a great opportunities to QPR fans on our platform this season,” Mittiga added, “we plan to work together with QPR for mutual success,” according to the press release.

Also commenting on the new partnership, QPR Commerical Director, Euan Inglis, said, “The growth in fantasy sports over the last few years has been substantial, especially fantasy football. The opportunity to win daily prizes on Sportito’s platform makes their proposition very exciting. We are delighted to have entered into a partnership with Sportito, as they are a fantasy sports company with big plans over the next few years.”
