Taiwan Sports Lottery has chosen Sportradar as the official technology and services solution provider.

Many global providers applied to the tender, and in the end, the authorities made a decision to grant a 10-year license to Sportradar.

A significant step for the whole market:

One of the main criteria when choosing a provider was the range of services that the providers offered, as well as the structure and duration of the industry-first agreement.

This is a significant step for Taiwan since the collaboration with Sportradar will change the whole sports betting industry in this regulated market. It will be included in the consortium, which will be in charge of the Taiwan Sports Lottery from the beginning of 2024 until 2033.

ADATA Technology formed the consortium to decide upon the Taiwan Sports Lottery licenses and appoint the license holder. On top of that, the Taiwan Sports Lottery Company Ltd (TSLC) has chosen the operator, as well as the China Trust Bank. This is a significant step for Sportradar since it greatly improves the company’s position in the whole Asia Pacific region.

This was the last out of three Sports Lottery licenses the Taiwan Government’s Sports Administration decided to issue in December 2022.

The first license was given to ORAKO, the famous company’s end-to-end sportsbook, which also offers various player account management solutions. The sportsbook will be available in more than 2.600 retail outlets all across the country, as well as many web and mobile channels.

The technology developed by Sportradar will help by the ORAKO Sports Betting and Player Management platform, Managed Trading Services, Pre-match and Live data and odds, Audiovisual streaming, Marketing services and other Sportradar ORAKO solution integrated services.

On top of that, the retail stores will get new customized lottery terminals and printers, as well as advanced digital displays to show the newest information.

All of the operations will be supervised by the company’s local team in Taipei.
