The first week of April is in the books and Stockholm-headquartered game studio Quickspin, which on Friday revealed that 35 of its games have been officially certified for the Swedish market, has now announced that on April 9 it will launch its latest game, Durian Dynamite, named after “the King of fruits.”
The “classic fruit game in a modern package” will be followed by Tales of Dr. Dolittle, which is based on the series of novels penned by British author Hugh Lofting. The April 25 launch will make two for the month, something the developer has never done before.
Fully 3D rendered:
The Playtech subsidiary introduced its latest video slot in a detailed news release by stating that with Durian Dynamite they have taken a classic fruit theme and transformed it into a modern game complete with unique features, amazing 3D graphics – it is the studio’s very first 3D rendered game – and gameplay that is highly volatile. Not to mention, they’ve also added what is renowned as the world’s stinkiest fruit, the Durian, which is native to southeast Asia and definitely not for the squeamish.
A stinky situation:
This is one unpleasant, thorn-covered fruit, which is, bring a clothespin for your nose stinky, believe it or not, the star of the show, representing the all-important wild symbol. The rest of the fruit used in the new 5-reel, 20-payline video slot does not, however, come with a stink warning and includes your garden variety juicy cherries and watermelons.
Feature-packed:
Along with stand-out graphics and a funky soundtrack, Quickspin‘s latest, which has a return-to-player ratio of 96.22 percent, boasts plenty of exciting attributes such as the Dynamite Wilds feature, which is completely one-of-a-kind and includes a middle reel which discharges Durian symbols that have the ability to explode and multiply across the screen.
Bonus spins:
Another exciting feature that adds to the new slot game’s appeal is the interactive Bonus Picker, which gives you between 3 and 6 totally random upgrades for the casino spins bonus game. For use in the Dynamite Wild feature, you can get as many as 36 bonus spins, extra ammunition or increase the number of active reels.
Universal appeal:
Quickspin says that their new slot is perfectly-suited for both the casual player and “high rollers” alike with its “fun appearance” and high volatility and will be available in markets where the developer has an existing presence, including the Swedish market.
Region-wide releases:
The slots specialist also recently announced that while its titles have been compliant with the new rules established by the Swedish Gambling Authority since January 1st, 2019, thirty-five of its games have been officially certified for the Swedish market, including its March release, The Grand.
