Australian Gambling – The launch of BetEasy.com.au continues to be bogged down in technical difficulties. The newest brainchild of former Sportsbet CEO Matthew Tripp is in jeopardy of missing the lucrative finals period for both AFL and NRL after delays that date back almost two months.

While BetEasy members are still able to use proxy site BetEzy.com.au, an opportunity for advertising and promoting the new site during the busy period leading into football finals and the spring racing carnival could be missed. It has been previously reported that the website would launch in late June. That deadline has clearly been missed, as has another reported launch date in late August.

AustralianGambling could get no official response from BetEasy, but when it contacted BetEzy through an online operator today, it was assured that the new BetEasy website would “definitely launch within the next couple of weeks.” An operator named ‘Joseph’ said that “There is no set date set in stone.”

“We have come across a few technical errors and are just trying to make the website as user-friendly as possible,” he said.
