Galaxy Macau Phase II will have 150 new tables when the casino opens on May 27, a number first forecast by Daiwa and confirmed by government sources last week. Asian news outlets today are releassing notes by UBS analysts who predict that at least 120 of them will be used in mass gaming as they expect only two or three junket rooms to open at the property.

They are noting that at least 60 tables in the mass gaming area of Galaxy Phase I have been taken out of commission since last month presumably to be moved into Phase II with final numbers of 270 mass gaming tables in Phase I and 180 in Phase II. Including tables at the new Broadway Macau, also set to open Wednesday, the two properties are expected to have a combined total of 700 tables, 250 of which will be dedicated to VIP gaming with 450 allocated to mass.
