One of the largest global poker brands, the World Poker Tour, began expanding their gaming events to the Asia-Pacific region last year, hosting the inaugural World Poker Tour India festival in November 2017. The event took place at the Deltin Royale Casino of Goa, with the tour partnering with Adda52.com, the largest poker site of India. The WPT India was a great success, with the poker brand now ready to do it again this November.

Round Two: 

The second edition of the WPT India has been announced, with the schedule set to run from November 13th until the 19th. The Deltin Royale will play host yet again, continuing their partnership with the online poker room, Adda52.

The 2018 schedule provides something for every player, with a long list of exciting events on offer. The most anticipated event on the schedule will of course be the Main Event, which will have a buy-in of INR 55,000.

The Main Event will take place from the 16th to the 19th. On top of this event, the series will also include seven side events, including the Kickoff event, a Superstack, Bounty, High Roller and more. Players competing will want to use their best strategies based on the game type in the hopes of earning a big WPT win.

New Offering: 

Along with the side events that were offered last year, this particular WPT event will also include a new tournament known as Shootout/6 Max NLH. It will replace an Omaha event that was on the schedule last year, offering a fast-paced poker variant to those in attendance.
