The KPMG Gibraltar eSummit will feature over 40 keynote speakers this year when the event is once again held on the Sunborn Gibraltar, the world’s first and only 5-star “super-yacht” hotel. The engaging thought-leading program will be held 23 March 2017, 8:45 am – 5:30 pm, and will cover a broad range of topics including AML, M&A, harm and risk minimization online, and much more – all presented by expert presenters and panelists from the world of eBusiness.

The eSummit is the 7th annual event in Gibraltar following last April’s 2016 Gibraltar event and adding to a legacy of more than a dozen such events including those held in the Isle of Man. Last year’s eSummit drew over 250 delegates. Each event builds on KPMG’s expertise in the field of eGaming, making each summit more lively, insightful, and important to attend.

Following last year’s events, KPMG Isle of Man and Gibraltar were awarded Best Corporate Services Provider of the Year 2016” at the eGaming Review B2B Awards on June 1 in London.

KPMG Gibraltar eSummit 2017 will focus on industry priorities covering a litany of issues operators and regulators need to stay on top of the remain successful in the UK and further afield in Europe.

Delegates can explore briefings from the RGA, GAMLG, Gambleaware and the NOSES Project team and presentations from Geocomply, Featurespace, and Global Gaming Africa, as well as the opportunity to attend IMGL Masterclasses on Consumer Protection, Technology & Data, and Regulatory Developments; participate in social responsibility workshops including KPMG’s ‘Women in Gaming’ initiative with Mishcon de Reya and GamCare on customer interaction.

Main room panels will focus on M&A activity in the gaming sector and the wider outlook for Gibraltar from both the advisers’ and the operators’ perspective, and much more.

For a quick takeaway for those who may not be able to attend all day, or have more than one representative in attendance -morning sessions will be spread across three rooms and focus mostly on regulatory and compliance aspects of the industry, while after lunch the focus will be mostly on technology.

The final session of the day will feature John Kamara of Global Gaming Africa for a look at how the eGaming market is changing and innovating offering delegates insights into the fast emerging market and its opportunities.

As has become a tradition, the summit will wind down with an operators’ panel moderated by Gambling Commissioner and Head of Gambling Regulation, Phill Brear.
