Online casino operator, Mr Green and Company AB, has announced that it has followed the likes of competitors Global Gaming, Panda Media Limited and LeoVegas AB in being licensed by the Swedish Gambling Authority.

Quintuple authorizations:

The Stockholm-listed firm used an official press release (pdf) to detail that the licenses cover both itself and its Evoke Gaming Limited subsidiary and will give its domains at MrGreen.com, MamaMiaBingo.com, Vinnarum.com, Redbet.com and Bertil.com the ability to legally offer their services to online gaming aficionados throughout Sweden.

Coverage continuing to grow:

Mr Green and Co applied for the Swedish iGaming licenses via its Evoke Gaming Limited subordinate in mid-August and stated that the latest authorizations mean that it is now licensed by regulators in some 13 jurisdictions including the United Kingdom, Malta, Denmark and Latvia.

Maintaining expansion policy:

Per Norman, Chief Executive Officer for Mr Green and Company AB, declared that the new Swedish licenses represent a continuation of his firm’s long-held strategy of expanding into regulated markets and are set to come into force from the first day of 2019.

Norman’s statement read…

“We welcome the Swedish regulation and are looking forward to offering a superior experience in our Green Gaming environment. We are especially happy about the strong emphasis on responsible gaming in the Swedish regulation since Green Gaming has been part of our strategy since the start of the company ten years ago.”

Operator’s successful year:

Mr Green is also responsible for the iGaming sites at BingoSlottet.dk, 11.lv, BingoSjov.dk and WinningRoom.com and additionally highlighted the fact that this year had seen its domains at MrGreen.com and Redbet.com receive sportsbetting licenses from authorities in Denmark and Ireland respectively.
