After rebranding its casino in Cleveland two weeks ago, operator Jack Entertainment has begun a similar program for its property in Cincinnati and revealed that the 100,000 sq ft venue would soon be temporarily closing in order to fully complete the transition.

Opened in March of 2013 as the Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati, the downtown venue is soon set to be known as the Jack Casino Cincinnati to reflect the recent rebranding of its Detroit-based owner Rock Gaming to Jack Entertainment.

The name change will see the Ohio casino feature new signage and an original red décor while players are to be transitioned to the new ClubJack rewards program.

Jack Entertainment additionally operates Jack Thistledown Racino and changed its name in February before buying the remaining minority stakes in the Cincinnati and Cleveland venues from Caesars Entertainment Corporation and taking over all management duties.

“Jack is the voice of adventure,” said Darlene Monzo, Chief Marketing Officer for Jack Entertainment. “It is that rare friend who entices you to step outside of your comfort zone, forget your fears, have fun and live in the moment, for the moment.”
