Delta Downs Racetrack Casino and Hotel announced today that the 12th running of the $1,000,000 Delta Downs Jackpot (Gr. III) will be broadcast live at 4:15 p.m. CST as “The Race of the Week” on Sirius XM Radio on Saturday, November 22.

The two-hour program, which will air live on Sirius XM channel 92 from 3-5 p.m. CT, will be co-hosted by Dave Johnson, the voice of the Triple Crown for a quarter century, and by award-winning journalist and commentator Bill Finley. The broadcast will also include the live call of the $400,000 Delta Downs Princess (Gr. III), which is scheduled to run at approximately 3:43 p.m.

Hall of Fame jockey Chris McCarron will also appear as a special guest during the Sirius XM coverage on Jackpot Day. The multiple Eclipse Award winner will provide a unique perspective for the fans as the thrilling day of racing unfolds.

Further expanding the coverage of the day’s action at Delta Downs, Sirius XM will go live from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. CT Saturday with the “Down the Stretch,” the comprehensive national weekly program also co-hosted by Johnson and Finley. They will provide listeners from around the country with the latest news, interviews, analysis and handicapping expertise.

The Jackpot Day program will begin at 1:15 p.m. CT. The 11-race card will feature eight stakes events and over $2.3 million in total purse money.
