iGaming Business – Mobile social gaming company Storm8 has expanded its executive team by appointing former Zynga employees Tim LeTourneau and Steve Parkis to newly-created roles.
LeTourneau will assume the role of chief creative officer while Parkis has been appointed as the firm’s new president of games and network.
In their previous roles at Zynga, both LeTourneau and Parkis oversaw the development and production of the social gaming company’s successful FarmVille and Zynga Poker franchises.
Perry Tam, co-founder and chief executive officer of Storm8, said that the new appointments would help the company to achieve its growth goals.
“Since our founding nearly six years ago, our goal has been to build the largest mobile games network by delivering the highest-quality mobile gaming experiences to players around the world,” Tam said.
