The long awaited unveiling of Elements Casino in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada is set to happen on Thursday, December 17. Visitors to the renovated Fraser Downs Racetrack and Casino can expect to find live entertainment, new dining experiences, and additional gaming opportunities in the casino along with legendary standardbred horse racing and simulcast facilities. The lower level slot floor opened in November.

The gaming and entertainment venue is owned by Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, purveyors of other high traffic casinos in Canada such as Hard Rock Vancouver and River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond, BC. Specific details are not being released yet but we can tell our readers that the new Elements Casino will feature more than 550 state-of-the-art interactive slot machines as well as table games such as baccarat, blackjack, roulette and poker.

Surrey is one of the fastest growing cities in Canada and is projected to be the most populated city in Metro Vancouver by 2020. Earlier this year the company painted the new offering with a wide brush saying, “This type of multi-million dollar property transformation allows us the opportunity to ensure our guests experience something uniquely special. With our mix of gaming options, entertainment and culinary experiences, I am confident Elements Casino will be the primary entertainment choice for many,” said Michael Kim, Director of Operations, Fraser Downs Racetrack and Casino.
