Voting for the Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas 2018 is officially open after the panel of judges has been sent the list of nominees.
According to Gambling Insider…
Casting their votes at this year’s Awards are 70 of the gaming industry’s leading executives. It is the largest judging panel the event, that rewards the land-based and digital gaming community, has seen in its five years.
Largest judging panel:
Executives from some of the gaming industry’s most prestigious companies will comprise this year’s judging panel, including Harald Neumann, CEO Novomatic, Matt Davey, CEO SG Digital, Danny Gladstone, CEO Ainsworth Game Technology, Kostandina Zafirovska, CEO BtoBet, John Coleman, CEO Microgaming, Stacy Papadopoulos, Interim CEO, General Counsel and SVP of Industry Services for American Gaming Association (AGA) and more.
Alan Feldman, Executive Vice President Global Corporate Communications & Industry Affairs, MGM Resorts International, Barry Cottle, CEO & President, Scientific Games and Christian Stuart, Executive Vice President, Caesars Entertainment Corporation, are among this year’s new entrants to the Global Gaming Awards judging panel.
Winners of this year’s awards are to be announced during a luncheon ceremony that will take place on Monday, October 8 at Sands Expo Las Vegas and will kick off the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2018.
Ten nominees in 12 different categories will be chosen by the judges, who will decide the first and second place winners in each category. In the event of a tie for the winner in any category, the winner will be the nominee that has earned the most second-place votes.
Finalization of Shortlist:
The Shortlist having been finalized last month, after a lengthy and detailed process, where self-nominations along with recommendations from the eight-member nomination panel are analyzed, the judging panel can now proceed with voting.
The Global Gaming Awards are powered by leading B2B-gaming publication Gambling Insider in association with G2E and independently adjudicated by KPMG Isle of Man.
BetConstruct, an online and land-based gaming solutions provider, is the Lead Partner of this year’s Awards.
The list of all nominees in all categories will be broken down by the Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas 2018 Shortlist magazine and will be released later this month and will be distributed at G2E.
