After months of deliberation, the companies that have been added to the shortlist of the 2018 Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas have now been contacted. Self-nominations along with the eight-member nomination panel recommendations were completed, after a long and detailed consideration process. The winners will be named on October 8th during a luncheon hosted at G2E at the Sands Expo Las Vegas.

5th Edition of the Awards:

The upcoming awards ceremony marks the 5th edition, celebrating the major achievements in the gaming industry by top companies. Twelve awards are to be handed out during the ceremony with each award category having ten nominees.

A nomination by the Global Gaming Awards is considered a sign of success for any company, with operators and other gaming industry leaders hoping to make the cut. Last year, such companies as Bet365, MGM Resorts, Scientific Games and Wynn Resorts earned an award win.

This year’s Awards will feature four new categories, including:

  • American Executive of the Year
  • Slot of the Year
  • Property of the Year
  • Product Innovation of the Year

Deciding the Winners:

The companies who have been nominated now can send in a statement that will be considered by the judges. The panel consists of over 65 individuals, all of which will help decide the winners. The KPMG Isle of Man will assist with the voting process to ensure transparency and fairness.

In September, the Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas 2018 Shortlist magazine will be made available, distributed during G2E, where the nominees in the categories can be viewed.
