Grosvenor Casino Portsmouth, located in Portsmouth, in the Gunwharf Quays retail outlet, will soon be revealing its £600k facelift received from the Rank Group Plc. (RNK:LN).
The Grosvenor Casinos and Mecca Bingo owners’ investment will benefit the city in the county of Hampshire by increasing its gaming offering and improving on the overall gaming experience of the facility, which means more opportunities for jobs for the local community.
Four gaming tables, 20 new slot machines, eight electronic roulette terminals, and a new area dedicated to new games, are included in the improvements to the Grosvenor Casino Portsmouth. The investment increases the casino’s current staff of 150 by 40, which will come from the local community.
The United Kingdom casino’s general manager, Tracey Collins, said, “As well as delivering an improved gaming offering in direct response to customer demand, we’ve also introduced a brand new bespoke gaming area which will create a really fun atmosphere in the casino. We always strive to provide something for everyone and the addition of these new tables will add some more theatre within the casino environment. We’ll be sure to celebrate the unveiling of the new look casino with a bang so watch this space for further details!,” according to a G3 Newswire report.
