Maltese online wagering technologies innovator Kambi Group has announced the inking of a multi-year arrangement to start supplying its retail sportsbetting platform to eminent Canadian casino operator Great Canadian Entertainment.

The Valletta-headquartered firm used an official Thursday press release to declare that the deal is to see it provide ‘its leading on-property sportsbook’ to ten land-based casinos operated by Great Canadian Entertainment in the province of Ontario. The innovator also pronounced that the agreement will involve its latest partner benefitting from ‘a high-performance retail sportsbook solution’ encompassing self-service betting kiosks coming complete with ‘fully configurable digital signage functionality’.

Growing girth:

Kambi Group recently signed an agreement that could see it spend upwards of €78.1 million ($77.8 million) so as to purchase award-winning front-end technologies specialist Shape Games with its latest alliance set to further exploit its already-prominent position within the embryonic Canadian sportsbetting market. The company detailed that its iGaming advances are moreover now utilized by over 40 iGaming operators in 17 North American jurisdictions including New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.

Kristian Nylen serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Kambi Group and he used the press release to divulge that the new pact will see his firm launch sportsbooks within land-based casinos across the most populated province in Canada including the jurisdiction’s newest, the 330,000 sq ft Pickering Casino Resort. The experienced figure furthermore noted that this understanding follows his company’s recent signing of an analogous Ontario arrangement with Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment concerning the Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara properties.
