A recent deal with Asia’s top online betting and gaming site, Dafabet, will see Kiron Interactive expand its operations in Africa.
Leading supplier of virtual games and gaming systems, Kiron Interactive, will make several of its virtual racing titles, including motor racing, horse racing, and dog racing available to the privately owned online gambling company based in the Philippines for its retail and online operations in Africa. Dafabet, which is the flagship brand and subsidiary of AsianBGE, has recently begun to expand its global footprint by entering the African market and launching in Kenya.
The deal between Kiron and Dafabet comes on the heels of Kiron’s expansion into South America with Argentina-licensed lottery and gaming solutions supplier Impresora Internacional de Valores (IVISA). The six-year deal that happened in March will see Kiron supply its virtual sports products to the 500 syndicated retail and online outlets of IVISA, in more than 135 lottery parlors in Argentina.
Kiron Interactive CEO, Steven Spartinos, said, “We are always looking to establish strong partnerships in new and exciting regulated territories and that’s exactly what we have achieved with Dafabet,” according to the press release. Spartinos continued, “Continuing our growth into the African continent with an established brand such as Dafabet offers an exciting prospect and one which we are sure will yield great result especially in the rapidly developing online and mobile betting space in Africa.”
Dafabet’s Director of Regional Operations, Louis Watts, added, “We’re delighted to be working with Kiron and are sure their quality titles will help us stand out in Kenya as we enter the African market for the first time. “Offering something that’s both fresh and of the highest quality when entering a new market for the first time is essential and we are sure Kiron’s superb titles will do exactly that,” Watts said.
Established in 2001 as a developer of online virtual racing betting and skill games, Kiron Interactive leads the industry with its technologically advanced platforms and delivers real-time renderings of virtual sports events. Kiron’s virtual gaming products have been deployed successfully across several platforms including the internet, satellite broadcast, mobile, and WAN/LAN networked environments and gaming machines. Kiron uses the latest animation along with proven gaming systems, enabling the Johannesburg-based company to grow to become a leader in their field.
