British B2B sports betting services provider Metric Gaming has teamed up with online casino platform Spiffbet AB (SPIFF.ST) for the launch of the Stockholm-based company’s SuperNopea Sportsbook brand.

In addition to strengthening the existing partnership between the two firms, the deal will allow Spiffbet customers to utilize Metric’s football product during the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship (Euro 2020).

Timely market entry:

SuperNopea, which means super fast in Finnish, is the Stockholm-based provider‘s Finnish flagship online casino, and the launch comes just in time for the Finland national football team to take part in the Championship for the very first time.

“Similar to Turbo Vegas, it was important to us that SuperNopea be able to serve the Finnish and Swedish markets with a customised product and trading strategy. Metric’s multi-tenant system allows us to do this with ease offering a cost effective and compliant solution to each market,” said Maria Boelius, Chief Operating Officer for Spiffbet AB.

The COO further stated in the recent press release, that the project has run from “inception to completion” in mere weeks, crediting Metric for taking the brand live in time for Euro 2020, which final tournament dates run from June 11 to July 11, 2021, with a total of 11 host cities.

“Our Finnish customers will enjoy being able to bet on the national team in a major tournament for the first time, Boelius said.

Multiple deals:

Last month, Metric Gaming inked a deal to provide its sportsbook platform to Turbo Vegas in Sweden and globally by way of their online operation, turbovegas.com. It was the second such business deal between the pair, both of which have a Swedish focus, and follows the launch of Snabbis‘ sportsbook in May. That deal sees the sports betting operator (Snabbis.com) leverage Metric’s in-play personalization customer software while also being able to process 2,000 bets per second.

The London-headquartered multi-tenant sportsbook provider is fully licensed in Sweden and has a significant amount of operating experience in the territory.

Preferred provider:

Also commenting on the launch, Chief Executive Officer for Metric Gaming, Jim Supple said they are “delighted” to have renewed their professional relationship with Spiffbet and to be able to allow the operator’s customers to enjoy the platform during the European Championships.

“We’re rightly proud of our football product SuperNopea will be utilising. Using official data, our models are quick to react to match events, allowing reduced In Play bet delays and a market leading 97% uptime. Customers are not kept waiting after a goal, like some suppliers, instead odds are recalculated and live within seconds. They’ll also enjoy low tax cashout on every market, In Play Build-a-bet and our SuperLive offering for next minute betting.”
