On the heels of the January 1 opening of Sweden‘s newly regulated gambling market, Microgaming‘s award-winning content is now live in the Scandinavian country after introducing a bespoke solution to the market by the Isle of Man-based online gaming supplier’s entertainment platform.

According to the official press release

The company headquartered in Douglas has over the last few months closely supported its operators throughout the license application process, having provided them with information and supporting documentation required for the newly re-regulated Swedish market. As a result, its operators can seamlessly switch to a ‘refined solution with localized content’ that is specifically tailored for the Swedish market.

Access to top-performing games:

Operators will be provided with a portfolio of the developer’s most popular games, via the new dedicated domain, optimized across desktop and mobile, to include table games and branded slot titles such as Game of Thrones and classics like Immortal Romance. Operators will also have access to the largest progressive jackpot network in the industry, which has to date paid out more than €973 million (US$1,113,431,144.00).

Operators already live:

Several of Microgaming’s top operators, including Betsson Group, BWIN, Genesis, Coolbet, Comeon, Global Gaming, Unibet, LeoVegas, Bet365, and PokerStars, have received their licenses and have already gone live in Sweden with Microgaming’s content. More operators are expected to join the others throughout the year.

Bulgarian market launch:

Early last month, a new partnership agreement between Microgaming’s, Prima Networks Limited, and National Lottery AD saw its online poker offering launch in the Bulgarian market on the 7777.bg site.

Having launched in 2003, the Microgaming Poker Network is one of the longest-established poker networks in the world and is available in multiple languages. The poker network provides players with access to round-the-clock action, regular promotions and dozens of Casino in Poker (CiP) side games.
