Las Vegas-based NYX Gaming Group Limited (TSXV: NYX), a leading digital gaming provider, has appointed former Oracle exec Chris Armes as the company’s new Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Armes has 25 years of experience leading large-scale organizations in hardware and software projects internationally. He joins the executive team at NYX from Oracle, where with the acquisition of Sun, he worked from 1999 and most recently held the position of Vice President of Revenue Products Engineering (RPE) for the company’s Systems business unit.
Commenting on the appointment was Matt Davey CEO of NYX Gaming Group: “We’re pleased to welcome Chris to the team, and we look forward to him providing technical direction across numerous areas of our product-led strategy,” according to the press release.
As the Group’s new CTO, Armes will be responsible for overseeing the company’s product development and support teams across Casino, Sportsbook, Bingo and Lotteries, bringing together the different segments under a single cohesive delivery model, enacting the product-led strategy of the company.
Also commenting on his new appointment to NYX’s executive team, Armes said he was thrilled to be joining the company at a time when it is experiencing an exciting period of growth. He said, “I’m looking forward to working closely with NYX customers to ensure that our product innovation is in line with their current and future needs.”
NYX Gaming Group has recently begun offering its NYX Open Gaming System (OGS) platform to OIA Services Limited and the Maltese registered company’s brands at Betaland and Enjoybet.
