Since April 7th, the Casino Barcelona has played host to the 2018 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Grand Final Barcelona. Over the weekend, the Main Event finished up, with Pascal Lefrancois earning the first-place win. A total of 1,175 paid the €10,300 to compete in the event, with the guaranteed prize pool surpassing the guarantee and reaching just over €11.3m. In the end, Lefrancois was able to claim the title, after defeating Adam Owen in heads-up play.

When final table play began, Lefrancois would have the chip lead, but would face tough competition. In speaking with PokerNews, the poker player stated that he had a rough start and was unable to get any hands.

Despite having trouble from the beginning, Lefrancois was able to hold on and make it to heads up play against Adam Owen. Lefrancois would have a nice lead going in to the final round but Owen was aggressive, and he would soon take the lead. The two would exchange the chip lead a few times before Lefrancios would take the lead for the final time.

On the final hand of the poker tournament, Owen would hold A-10 of spades and raise with Lefrancois then three-betting with A-J. Owen would then be all-in with Lefrancois calling. The flop fell Q-5-5, keeping Lefrancois in the lead. A 3 of spades on the turn was no help to anyone and a 7 of diamonds on the river secured the win for Lefrancois, sending Owen home in second place.
