On the heels of the launch of its Level Up gamification tool and Cyprus-based provider of omni-channel sports betting solutions Playtech BGT Sports has extended its sportsbook partnership with Spanish gaming company, Codere SA (CDR:MCE).

Key coverage:

According to a press release, the contract extension with the Playtech subsidiary will be effective until late 2022 and covers the Nicosia-headquartered company’s online facilities and retail presence in Colombia, Panama, Mexico and Spain. More than 9,000 retail tills and betting terminals are included, with that number expected to grow in the months to come.

Included in the new offering are unique features and exciting content that will help facilitate Codere’s delivery of an immersive journey for players that combines information and the latest sporting events with thousands of betting opportunities, both pre-match and in-play.

In addition to online gaming, Codere’s offering in Spain includes over 2,600 retail points of sale (POS), ‘locations where transactions are carried out, including 77 LBOs.’ The company’s Codere Apuestas brand is professional football club, Real Madrid’s, official sports betting partner.
