Firstly I would like to congratulate Bridge Overseas for the very excellent upgrade to the Vila Galé Hotel Estoril for the March 2007 Bridge Tournament.

The Vila Galé is situated around the corner from the Casino Estoril, and opposite the railway station which is (practically) on the beach of Estoril. In half an hour by train you are in down town Lisbon. ( 5 Euros return )

This year we had 9 Tables ( 36 Bridge Players ) for each of the 10 evening sessions, and Chicago in the afternoon with 1-3 tables.

The previous month I was fortunate to be on a Bridge holiday in Side southern Turkey. This is undoubtedly Bridge Overseas finest hotel accommodation. The Sunrise Queen hotel is outsanding value for money. The management laid on a 7 course buffet on Valentines Day with no extra charge everyone staying at thier hotel.

For 14 nights excluding Bridge fees B.O.S. offered this holiday for under £400 inclusive.
