Further expanding its audience in what is considered a key region, multi-product content provider Pragmatic Play has partnered with up-and-coming sports betting and online casino brand BetWarrior in the LatAm market.

The collaboration between the two businesses will see the provider’s most popular verticals – slots and table games – go live with the Latin America and Europe-based iGaming and betting operator in Buenos Aires Province and Buenos Aires City, Argentina’s two main jurisdictions.

What the agreement means for BetWarrior customers in both jurisdictions of the South American country is that following a seamless integration they will be able to experience hits from Pragmatic Play, such as the 2017 hit Wolf Gold, Sweet Bonanza and Big Bass Bonanza, part of the popular fishing-inspired series from partner studio Reel Kingdom, as well as the player-favorite John Hunter series.

Mutually Beneficial Deal:

“We make a point of partnering with companies who offer top quality content and Pragmatic Play provides us with the diverse and premium entertainment our player’s demand,” read a statement from Leandro Rivas, General Manager at Betwarrior Argentina.

The GM noted that the partnership is of “great benefit to both parties,” and they “can’t wait” to see how their customers will receive Pragmatic Play’s games.

LOTBA Authorization:

At the end of 2021, the Malta-headquartered provider received authorization from LOTBA, the Regulatory Entity of the city of Buenos Aires, and Lottery of the Province of Buenos Aires approval, which allows the supplier to continue to boost its presence in those key regulated markets.

Also commenting on the new alliance, Victor Arias, Vice President of Latin American Operations for Pragmatic Play, said via a company news release

“Betwarrior is an up-and-coming brand in LatAm and one which we have been keen to collaborate with. Going live on their platform in Buenos Aires City and Buenos Aires Province is a great result and ensures our content is given exactly the right kind of exposure there.”

Arias explained that “the market is thriving in the region” and “these are the kind of deals” they “need to be striking” to maintain their momentum.

LatAm Market Growth:

After securing authorization from the local regulator (LOTBA) in June 2021, Pragmatic Play was finally able to launch a selection of its award-winning slots products to service providers in Argentina’s bustling capital city in early December that year. And just prior to the year’s end, inked a multi-vertical content deal with BPlay in Buenos Aires.

BPlay is a collaboration between 888 and B-Gaming, which is owned by Boldt S.A., one of Argentina’s oldest iGaming companies and experienced operators of both land-based and online brands in the important Latin American region.

More recently, the provider revisited the capital of Argentina, agreeing a content supply deal and partnership with Super 7 for its slots portfolio. The deal followed a series of commercial deals in the Latin American region, including taking its popular online bingo product live with Venezuelan iGaming and sports betting brand, FacilitoBet, and throughout the month with MarjoSports in Brazil, Once Bit Tech, and Bet7K, a key player in the Brazilian market, earlier in February.
