Russian Gaming Week (RGW) Sochi will be held October 27 at the Sea Galaxy Hotel Congress & SPA in Sochi Russia. The event, organized by Smile-Expo will present a wealth of information and opportunities for those looking to break into the developing regulated Russian gaming market.
The conference, following June’s highly successful RGW 2016 held in Moscow, is supported by the Sochi City Administration and will be moderated by Lavrentiy Gubin, public relations director of Storm International. Storm Int’l is best known for their Shangri-La and X.O. clubs in Belarus, Armenia, and Georgia as well as Storm casinos in Germany, and Hollywood Entertainment in Monterey, Mexico.
The conference will be devoted to key issues surrounding the nascent “Krasnaya Polyana” gambling zone at the site of the 2014 Winter Olympics, including the Gorky Gorod Ski Resort. The Sochi gambling zone will completely replace the Azov-City gambling zone by the end of 2018.
Among other important speakers and exhibitors, attendees can expect esteemed lawyer Mariya Lepschikova to speak about gambling law amendments, the legislative framework of Sochi and other Russian gambling zones, opportunities for foreign participation, about the current gambling zone document, approved locally and expected to be ratified by the state Duma soon. Ms. Lepschikova will also be available to answer questions after her presentation.
Gambling legislation specialist, Valeriy Mochanov will also accept questions from the audience after speaking on regulation issues in the Russian gambling zones. Mr. Mochanov has worked at the Ministry of Justice as well as a supervisor of legal issues with the self-regulated organization of bookmakers.
In all, nearly a dozen CSI gambling and legal experts will share their knowledge, including a representative of the Sochi City Administration.
The exhibition or demo area will present international companies in all major segments of the gambling business including gaming equipment manufacturers, casino interior developers, furniture and supply designers and providers, bookmakers, social gambling reps, mobile gaming apps, online sector, etc.
In addition to one on one interactions and negotiations with vendors, participants can take advantage of master classes and presentations.
