Smoke has reportedly been a problem at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino Tampa, as guests have compared the smoking atmosphere to that of one found at a local bar or pub. The casino has taken into account what guests are saying and are now offering a smoke free area that will include table games such as blackjack.

Beginning on the 2nd of December, the Hard Rock Casino added a smoke-free blackjack gaming section. The casino had already launched a slot machine gaming area that was smoke-free for guests. The new gaming area is part of an expansion plan that has a multi-million dollar price tag.

The smoke-free areas will allow those who do not want to be around cigarettes to play their favorite games at the venue. Players do have the option of asking a dealer at any table game to make the area smoke-free but other patrons at the table have to be in agreement.  In January, the gaming venue has plans to add a smoke-free poker room for those who wish to enjoy the card game without begin around smokers.
