Almost a month after being certified by officials in Denmark and online casino games developer Pragmatic Play Limited has now announced that it has received licenses from authorities in Portugal and Spain.

The Malta-based firm revealed that these latest certifications, which were received from the Direccion General de Ordenacion del Juego (DGOJ) regulator in Spain as well as Portugal’s Servicos de Regulacao e Inspecao de Jogos (SRIJ), will allow it to offer its portfolio of over 80 state-of-the-art video slots to any licensed local operator.

Pragmatic Play Limited declared that the new authorizations also follow its award of a license by officials in the Bahamas in May and will serve to “complement” its existing permissions from the authorities in Malta, Italy and Romania.

“We’re very proud to have been given the green light in Spain and Portugal as we look to expand worldwide,” read a statement from Yossi Barzely, Head of Business Development for Pragmatic Play Limited. “It represents another breakthrough for Pragmatic Play [Limited] and highlights our commitment to our European expansion in regulated markets. We’re certain that our existing suite of games and forthcoming titles will prove to be just as popular with players in both countries as they have been elsewhere.”

Pragmatic Play Limited proclaimed that it endeavors to release two new titles every month and explained that its most recent game, the five-reel and 50-payline Pixie Wings video slot, has now gone live with Danish operator Vera&John.
