The World Series of Poker Circuit will return to the Bicycle Casino at the end of tis month, with 13 gold ring events on the schedule. The series will run from November 30th until December 15th, with players from across the US expected to take part.
Details of the Series:
The series will officially kick off at 10:00am on the 30th with Event #1, a No Limit Hold’em ring event. The buy-in to the tournament is $333 plus $70 and it will feature a $75,000 guaranteed prize pool. Players will be provided a 15,000 starting stack and re-entry will be provided for the first 12 levels. This tournament is a ring event.
Event #2 will kick off later in the afternoon, with a No Limit Hold’em Bounty on the schedule. This tournament offers a 15,000 starting stack as well with re-entry only offered during the first six levels.
The most anticipated tournament in the series is the Main Event. The tournament has a $1,700 buy-in and features No-Limit Hold’em. The event begins on December 8th and will have two starting flights. Players will start at blinds of 100-100 and have a 30,000 chip stack. Blind levels will increasing every 40 minutes during the starting days.
By day two, the blinds will increase to 60 minutes. Players can choose re-entry once per starting day. Registration will remain open until level 13 is reached on each starting day. Players who make it through Day 2 will come back on the 11th to play to the winner. Live At The Bike will be streaming the final table action as it takes place at the California casino.
Last Year’s Main Event:
The WSOPC Main Event at the Bicycle Casino last year saw a total of 547 players competing. Just over $828,000 was up for grabs. In the end, it was Steven Spunt who emerged victorious during the poker tournament, claiming his second gold ring during a WSOPC event.
