Caesars Entertainment Corporation has reportedly announced that it is soon hoping to complement the interactive lounge it recently opened inside its The Linq property by premiering an ‘experiential casino floor space’ featuring holographic gaming.

According to a Wednesday report, the prominent American casino operator launched the underwater-themed Re:Match bar inside the Las Vegas Strip venue on May 4 complete with an array of some 27 bar-top touchscreen displays offering patrons the ability to enjoy an array of at-seat games and entertainment.

Futuristic holograms:

The newspaper reported that Caesars Entertainment has now declared that it intends to supplement this new attraction by opening a new area near the center of The Linq’s 32,890 sq ft casino featuring a range of gesture-controlled holographic games including balloon-popping, tic-tac-toe and rock-paper-scissors titles. The Las Vegas-headquartered operator detailed that these soon-to-be-launched innovations will also be able to capture images that users can subsequently share via social media.

Alongside these industry-first games, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that this innovative zone inside The Linq is to additionally feature life-sized holographic dancers and 24 eSports gaming stations as well as an interactive environmental art installation complete with LED-based sculptures in the near future.

Immersive interaction:

Christian Stuart, Gaming and Interactive Entertainment Executive Vice-President for Caesars, reportedly told the newspaper that these will all be joined by an immersive interaction zones that are to allow users to ‘to be an active part of the art experience’. She additionally purportedly proclaimed that this attraction is to encompass six virtual reality bays that will allow users to see themselves as astronauts, athletes and action heroes.
