The FireKeepers Casino, located in Michigan, has just announced plans to transform a portion of their interior restaurant into a new dining venue titled Dacey’s Taphouse. The new restaurant will offer sit-down style dining along with a brewpub.
Currently, the facility is home to Dacey’s Sports Bar, which will be transformed into the new Dacey’s Taphouse space. This is one of six dining areas the casino and hotel of Firekeepers provides. The renovations will have a multi-million dollar price time and the property will remain open as the transformation takes place.
The new dining venue will have 140 seats in the restaurant and bar area along with a mezzanine area with 50 seats that will have a view of the casino floor. As many as 50 television screens will be added for patrons to view sporting events.
A unique feature to the taphouse will be a two story craft brew barrel which will be set up to grab patrons attention to the 50 beer selection the venue plans to have available on tap. The beer types will include several favorites within the state of Michigan as well as national craft beers. A food menu is also in the works.
Early august marks the beginning of construction to the new dining venue with Firekeepers having a goal of Dacey’s Taphouse being open by mid-December. Guests will have to be at least 21 years of age to enter the new dining area.
