Isle of Capri Casinos in Davenport Iowa has closed twice in the past couple months due to flooding of the Mississippi River caused by higher than normal rainfall. April 27th the casino closed due to the river rising about levels deemed safe for visitors and employees. It was reopened on May 6th when it was established that it was once again safe for people to travel to the casino property. As the season progressed with no end of rain it was closed again on June 12 when the water level of the Mississippi River once again became too much to pass safely.
