On May 22nd 2015, an updated opening time of the Lucky Dragon Hotel and Casino was announced, by the Las Vegas Economic Impact Regional Centre, for 2016. The project is estimated at $373 million. The new casino is being built on West Sahara between Allure Las Vegas condos and Golden Steer Steakhouse right off the northern part of the Strip in Las Vegas.
This boutique hotel is set to have 206 luxury rooms for visitors. The casino will offer 19,000 square feet of gaming of space. The PENTA Building Group is constructing the property; this firm was created by EV&A Architects. The doors of the Dragon Hotel & Casino on schedule to open in 2016.
The foundation laying for the casino resort, which is Asian inspired and themed is moving quickly. Once the project is completed, visitors will have a true Asian experience; said the Las Vegas Economic Impact Regional Centre.
The site of the project will span 2.51 acres. The check-in desk of the ten story hotel will have a view of the pool and private bar. The dining area and the casino will be housed in a different building.
The dining experiences will include tea cafes, noodle bars, restaurants, and the Night Market Buffet has been recently added to the list.
The casino will include slots and games like fan tan, baccarat, pai gow and others as well as a Center Bar.
The owners do not have the intention of adding a theatre, but guests will still be able to see live entertainment. You will have the option of trying authentic Asian tea and other herbal remedies. There will also be a retail area at the Lucky Dragon where you can buy jewelry, artifacts and fashion.
Even though the complex will have an Asian theme, the Las Vegas Economic Impact Regional Centre has said the staff will be multilingual. It is expected that Chinese will be the main language spoken. The signs will be in both English and Chinese.
The owners have said that the casino resort, Lucky Dragon is on schedule to officially be opened in 2016.
