Mohegan Sun Casino announced they are going to add a new hotel tower to their Uncasville, Connecticut location. The tower expansion will be started in fall 2016. These expansion plans will add 1,000 jobs to the mix. The tower is going to be seven stories with 400 rooms and called the Earth Hotel. The need for the second tower comes after 2014, when the hotel casino had to turn away 500,000 bookings.

The Mohegan Tribe has been building tourism to the area including investing billions to advertise and make the nation realize Uncasville has plenty to offer. Now they are looking to provide 1,000 jobs plus an additional 1,200 indirect jobs for suppliers that will help with the building of the new tower.
