Last week, Novomatic, the new owners of the  Casino Admiral in Ocean Village Gibraltar, reopened the casino with the help of the triple world champion of Formula 1, Niki Launda.

Niki Launda was given the role as the new ambassador for Novomatic. The casino itself has gone through an amazing transformation in the recent months through an investment of millions of pounds.

The casino now features new bars, restaurants, upgraded VIP areas, a sports betting facility and two smoking areas. The investment by Novomatic has also introduced new slot machines and has created 20 extra jobs.

The venue was bought back in 2013 by Novomatic through its investment arm Gryphon AG, but it is not certain what they paid.
