iGaming Business – Rep. Samuel Pagdilao, a member of the Philippines Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support organisation, has proposed new regulations that would impose strict fines on online gambling website operators that allow under-age visitors to gain access.

Pagdilao has introduced Bill 4540 to the House of Representatives in the Philippines, which is a growing gambling market.

His proposal calls for five to 10 years in jail or fines of up to $230,000 (€171,000) for licensees who knowingly allow minors to place bets online.
