This week, Scientific Games announced an extension of its long-term agreement with Banijay Brands. The two have worked together in the past to create instant scratch games and digital lottery content based on the popular Deal or No Deal gameshow. With the partnership extension, Scientific Games will be able to continue offering quality Deal or No Deal content worldwide.
The company just recently launched lottery games based on the television show in the United States, New Zealand, Canada, and France. The new agreement includes these markets along with additional areas such as Germany, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Romania, and Spain.
Long-Running Partnership Deal
Scientific Games and Banijay Brands have worked together for quite a long time. For 16 years now, the two have teamed up to create quality gaming content for fans of the Deal or No Deal game show. To date, there are over 110 lottery games operating internationally based on the brand.
The company has the largest portfolio of lottery-licensed properties in the world, offering over 100 television gameshows, pop culture, nostalgia, sports, and other entertainment brands via its games. Deal or No Deal is quite popular among players and provides winning payouts on a regular basis.
Banijay Brands Commercial Director Lex Scott commented on the new agreement extension by stating: “Banijay is home to some of the most recognizable brands on the planet, and we only work with the best partners to grow our IP beyond the screen. Scientific Games has long been a trusted collaborator for us, and the creative and innovative way it works with Deal or No Deal proves incredibly popular around the world.
Scientific Games innovated an industry-first Deal or No Deal Linked Games lottery winners’ event in 2007, which sent 100+ players from across the U.S. to Hollywood for a TV game show-like experience. Since then, Scientific Games has produced three exciting Deal or No Deal winners’ events for more than 230 lottery winners from across the U.S.”
Extended Contract with the Colorado Lottery
Scientific Games has been quite busy signing contract extensions with its partners. In August, the brand announced an extension with the Colorado Lottery. The new deal will see the Colorado Lottery advance its long-standing relationship with the brand, bringing even more quality content to consumers.
The new contract is expected to bring a new office into Colorado which will create jobs in the area. The new office will be located near the Lakewood headquarters of the Colorado Lottery.
