Gambling products and services provider, Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ: SGMS), on Monday announced that it has entered into an agreement with video gaming operator, Second State Gaming, LLC, that will see its Bally MultiConnect (BMC) software installed throughout the state of Pennsylvania at 20 truck stop locations.
Software launch:
According to the official press release from the Las Vegas-based company, the new BMC software will be launched this spring, with the installation to continue on 100 games at 20 truck stop locations providing for approval of gaming licenses.
Statewide gambling expansion:
In October 2017, Governor Tom Wolf approved legislation that in addition to enabling the northeastern U.S. state to license up to ten new satellite casinos and legalizing mobile and online gambling, also permits airports and truck stops in the state to offer a maximum of five slot-style video gaming terminals.
Operator benefits:
The publicly traded company’s BMC software provides “video lottery terminal (VLT) management reporting tools for multi-site gaming operations.” The technology additionally combines data from various gaming locations into a single reporting system just by clicking a button. BMC benefits operators by allowing them to assess multi-level gaming operations throughout the organization, and the convenience of one permanently consolidated set of accounting reports, according to the press release.

Vice President of Operations for Second State Gaming LLC, Jennifer Caruso, said…
“We were thoroughly impressed by Scientific Games’ existing presence in the State of Pennsylvania and their commitment to their systems customers. We are excited to see how the BMC product will give us a competitive advantage in the new Pennsylvania truck stop VLT market.”

“We are proud of our long-standing gaming partnerships in the State of Pennsylvania, and we are very excited to be the first to enter this new market with our systems offering.
“As the leader in gaming systems and route operations throughout North America, Scientific Games is best poised to support this emerging market, as well as other jurisdictions, with products that will enhance the bottom line. We look forward to working with Second State Gaming to effectively manage their gaming route operations,” Parente explained.
Inaugural deployment and award:
The Second State Gaming, LLC agreement is the very first award of a systems contract and the first deployment of the software technology [BMC] in Pennsylvania’s new truck stop route market.
Enhanced casino partner programme:
The latest partnership agreement is on the heels of the lottery and gaming machine innovator’s unveiling of the rebranded casino partner programme for its SG Digital subsidiary, as CONNECT and AMPLIFY.
