Eastern Europe’s most prestigious gaming forum is formally scheduled to begin Monday, November 23. The 8th annual Eastern European Gaming Summit (EEGS) has been organized by the Bulgarian Association of Manufacturers and Operators in the Gaming Industry (BRAMOGI), and their venue is the Inter Expo Center in Sofia, Bulgaria’s leading conference center.
After opening remarks and introductions, the Summit moves immediately into European regulatory updates as well as specific regulatory issues applicable to Easter Europe. Other first day topics include Protection Against Fraud and Money Laundering, Point of Consumption transition, challenges specific to the Eastern European gaming industry, responsible gambling, and building synergist systems between land-based and online gaming.
The second day opens with a special focus on women and leadership in the gambling industry. Sessions for the day include tourism, startup challenges, sports betting, and perspectives on poker in the future.
The Summit is also sponsoring a master class the day before the summit begins entitled, “Casino Marketing and Communications” focused on promotions and marketing while presenting international examples of best practices. The EEGS master class will be held at the Best Western Hotel Expo.
The EEGS dovetails into the Balkan Entertainment and Gaming Expo beginning November 24th and lasting through the 25th.
