According to the official press release…
The commercial deal gives the licensed and regulated Asian online gaming operator offering online casino, sports betting, poker and games access to the provider’s pool betting and fantasy sports platform.
The launch is expected to take place during the first half of the coming year while it is presumed that Dafabet will be part of Scout Gaming’s global liquidity network.
Founded in 2004, Dafabet operates across Asia, Europe and Africa and is the flagship brand and subsidiary of AsianBGE. A household name in Asia, the privately owned online gambling company headquartered in Makati has more than 1,000 employees and is licensed and regulated by First Cagayan Leisure and Resorts Corporation and Cagayan Economic Zone Authority.
“highly respected within the industry”
Commenting on the new agreement, Chief Executive Officer for Scout Gaming, Andreas Ternström said…
“We are proud that Dafabet selected us as their fantasy sports partner. Dafabet is considered to be one of the largest private operators in Asia and is highly respected within the industry on a global basis. It is clearly very satisfying to sign up another tier 1 operator.”
“complements our existing portfolio”
Explaining the significance of the deal, Marketing Director for Dafabet, Nikos Diakoumopoulos added…
“We have a history of successful growth across multiple product verticals and look forward to be able to introduce Fantasy Sports to our player base. Fantasy Sports holds great potential and complements our existing portfolio perfectly. Scout has been very professional and came out as the clear leader in our competitor analysis.”
Success dependent upon usage:
According to the news release, Scout’s long-term revenue relies upon the number of Dafabet’s customers play Scout’s games, as well as the extent to which they will use the firm’s products. Additionally, the size of Scout Gaming’s network plays a significant role in the long run, being that larger networks are expected to offer more sizeable prize pools, therefore, increasing the draw of the game to consumers.
We Are Casino deal:
Last month, less than a week after it received a B2B license from the United Kingdom’s Gambling Commission regulator, Scout Gaming announced that it had agreed a deal to distribute its games to international iGaming operators via the progressive HTML5-oriented platform from developer, We Are Casino.
