Malta-based supplier of lottery software Helio Gaming has been named Lottery Supplier of the Year by a panel of judges at this year’s 5 Star Media’s Starlet Awards.

The judges at the prestigious ceremony were reportedly impressed with the supplier’s innovative range of products. The company’s purpose-built solutions not only give partners leverage in the competitive market but also help businesses make the move into the lottery sector.

Lottery products:

Lotto Hero, the flagship game of the company that forms part of the Helio Heroes Group, is an award-winning hourly lottery featuring an accumulative jackpot starting at “a million Euros round the clock.” The lottery game is optimized first for tablet and mobile to appeal to a younger generation of customers.

Also widely popular, the smaller ball draw, Live Lotto, is drawn in three-minute intervals and players can win prizes of up to €50,000, along with the chance to interact with the game’s hostesses.

Competitive edge:

Commenting on the recent recognition from its peers, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Helio Gaming, Richard Mifsud, said in an October 10, 2019, press release

“We strive to create strong and purpose-built solutions that give partners the edge in a competitive market, so it’s very pleasing to see our cutting-edge development receive the recognition it deserves.

“We face tough competition in an industry where innovation is necessary to stand out, but always remain confident that our offering can hold its own.”

Winning the Lottery Supplier of the Year perfectly wraps up an impressive year that saw the supplier’s global presence expand in a range of emerging markets.

Furthermore, the welcome victory caps a year in which the company added nominations in the 2019 EGR B2B Awards (Lottery Supply category) where Helio was up against Bet Invest, Instant Win Gaming (IWG), Lottoland and Sporting Solutions.

Founded in 2017, in addition to multiple API functionality, the fully scalable lottery system’s portfolio includes custom-made lottery games to satisfy any operator’s lottery needs, including its flagship suite of Hero games.

Building on a relationship that began in 2018, the Ta’Xbiex-headquartered company went live with BetConstruct’s operator Vbet earlier this year in a move that brought the firm exposure to operators from over 50 countries. Courtesy of the deal, the Vbet family of domains is now able to offer players the ability to wager via daily, weekly and event-based draws on the outcome of some of the planet’s most lucrative lotteries.
