The Irish Open Online kicked off this weekend with players having access to quality poker tournament gaming through April 7 at partypoker. The full schedule of events can be found at the site and right now, players can compete in qualifiers to win a seat to the Main Event for just one penny! The Main Event has a large buy-in of €1,100 and will be out of reach for many players. These affordable qualifiers give low rollers a chance to compete in the big event!

Qualifying Process

To earn a Main Event ticket to the online poker tournament, players need to visit partypoker. The site is offering four different steps to the top. Players can buy-in directly to the final qualifier for €109 or choose to compete in the more affordable options for a chance to work up to the final qualifier.

The most affordable option is the penny qualifier. Each day, the online poker site offers up the daily Centroll. This event will provide 25 tickets to the €1.10 Phase 1 tournament. Players can buy-in directly to the Phase 1 option or use the Centroll to earn a spot.

The Phase 1 option takes place daily as well and 10% of the field will move on to Phase 2. The Phase 2 tournament has an €11 buy-in and 10% of that event will advance to the Phase Final, which is the €109 event.

With the Phase Final, the top 100 players will earn a ticket to the Main Event. This tournament takes place on Sundays leading up to the Main Event. Choose to compete in any of the lower qualifiers during the week or wait until Sunday to buy-in directly to this tournament. The Main Event tournament features a €1 million prize pool, so you know a ton of players are going to be vying for a spot in the big event!

The Final Phase ran yesterday and there is one more set for April 4th. So, there is plenty of time to still take place in this satellite opportunity. The Main Event started on Sunday and will include three Day 1s plus a Day 1C to help as many players as possible take part in the event.

Don’t forget the Irish Open Online includes plenty of additional events. Buy-ins start at just €22! This week, there is plenty of action to explore on the schedule, including Deepstacks, Heads-Up events, Grand Prix events, and more. Check out the full schedule by visiting partypoker and selecting the Irish Open Online section.
