This September, the Ritz-Carlton will be playing host to the CEEGC 4 and CEEG Awards in Budapest. Registration is now open, with the conference set to take place on the 24th and 25th. For the 2019 conference, the organizers have decided to add a second day to be used for networking along with offering a boat trip on the Danube.

Must-Attend Conference:

European Gaming Media and Events have opened registrations for this must-attend conference. The 4th edition of the yearly event will be focusing on new content and providing a different viewpoint on an already established and emerging gaming market.

Discussions will take place during the conference that will focus on opportunities of investment as well as compliance in the regulated regions of Central and Eastern Europe including Romania, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia and the Czech Republic. Emerging CEE jurisdictions will also be covered including Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.

Additional discussions will be centered around an industry briefing of the Balkan Gaming Industry along with an exclusive IMGL MasterClass, highlighting North America, Africa and Asia gambling industry opportunities.

CEEG Awards 2019:

According to event organizers, the CEEG Awards will reward once again the top 20 companies that work to drive the gaming industry forward in the region. This year, the awards process will include a nominations committee that in parallel with the industry will nominate the companies for awards, groups that might have been overlooked in years past.

The nomination phase for the public is now open and company submissions can be made until July 15th 2019. With nominations, companies will need to select a category for award consideration including Rising Star in Sports Betting Technology, Best Overall eSports Service Providers, Best Online Casino Provider and more.

2018 Award Winners:

In 2018, the CEEG Awards Ceremony took place in during the CEEGC Budapest, rewarding top companies for their efforts within the gambling industry. Each category featured a shortlist of nominees and then two months were used for the voting process including an online vote.

Several top operators were recognized during the event including the Betsson Group, who earned the Best Support for Responsible Gambling 2018 and the Best Customer Support in Online Casino 2018. Playtech earned the Best Lottery Service Provider 2018 while Play’n GO won the Best Online Casino Provider award.

As nominations are currently open, it will be interesting to see by fall who is recognized during the CEEG 2019 and if some of the same winners will be back again to hold on to the coveted titles!
